Resumen:
Abstract: Scorpion genus Phoniocercus Pocock, 1893 (Bothriuridae) is endemic to the cold humid forests ofthe southwestern part of South America. Up to now the known distribution of the genus was restricted to theValdivian forests of southern Chile.
