Descripción:
The demand for the sustainable use of marine species has led to evaluate several processes for recovery of by-products generated from fish industries. The enzymatic hydrolysis is an effective process to obtain products rich in peptides, free amino acids, essential fatty acid, minerals and other bioactive components with potential biotechnological applications. General objectiveCharacterize and evaluate potential technological applications of a fish protein hydrolysate. Specific objectives1. Determine the chemical composition of FPH.2. Assess the application of FPH as a nutritional source to improve the growth of tomato plantlets.3. Determine the potential application of FPH as nutritional source of microorganisms using in the industry.
