Resumen:
Thermal and energy performance evaluation of two wineries in the province of Mendoza, Argentina (32º40?SL, 68º51?WL, 750m above sea level) is presented. The selected wineries have similar building size, equal amount and quality of production but different space distribution and envelope materiality. In situ airand surface temperature, relative humidity and solar radiation measurements were taken and were studied in relation with energy consumption registers. Proposals of environmental refurbishment for each case were simulated with Energy Plus software. The simulation of the refurbishment proposals resulted in matchingmean measured temperatures without auxiliary energy involved.
