Resumen:
The Center for Rehabilitation of Infantile Paralysis of Olavarría (CORPI) is a leading institution in the province of Buenos Aires covering an important region, with more than 60 years of experience rehabilitating patients. These rehabilitation therapies demand advanced equipment in order to quantify the effect on the patient and improve their effectiveness through measurements of each lower limb efforts and the angle of inclination. In this project we present the design and construction of a special stretcher for advanced assessment of lower limbs rehabilitation with quantitative measurement that allows to assess the progress of patients along the treatment. The equipment has Bluetooth communication with mobile devices and through an app can record the measurements and communicate them to other devices. In addition, this development is a product that could be inserted into the market of rehabilitation devices since there are no similar equipment available in the country.Keywords?
