Resumen:
An oil of Minthostachys verticillata was analyzed byGC. The mainconstituents identified were pulegone and menthone. It was found that the oil inhibites beta hexosaminidase reales from basophyls. Forty two percent of the cells present in lymphocyte cultures stimulated by the oil were CD8 T cells and showed higher IFN gamma levels than non stimulted cultures. According to these results, the oils was considered to be a Th! deviation inducer inhibitin the inmediate type allergic reaction.
