Variación de composición bioquímica en hembras de merluza común (Merluccius hubbsi) durante el ciclo reproductivo

The biochemical composition and energetic contents of muscle, liver and gonads of females of Merluccius hubbsi during its reproductive cycle were determined. Adult females (44-50 cm of total length) were caught in the Patagonian area (43-45º LS). Condition factor (K) and hepatosomatic index (HI) were estimated. Protein and lipid contents were determined in each tissue. In addition, water and ash contents in muscle were determined.
