This is a confrontation between the artistic mind in Melville and the religious intention in Escrivá. It is used here as the starting point for an approach some doubtless difficult aspects in the world of contemporary work. It is showed that the communion of both of them -Melville is Protestant and Escrivá is Catholic- is possible thanks to the contemplative disposition in those authors.
