Resumen:
Epidemic models based on differential equations usually do not take into account spatial factors, and assume a big, well mixed population whose individuals are all equals. In this paper we are interested in addressing the heterogeneity of a diseased population during the development of an epidemic. For that purpose, we developed an ABM which includes heterogeneity at individual level by means of the infectivity rate and the spatial distribution. The model takes in account the immune response at individual level, introducing an Ordinary Differential Equation model of the immune system in each agent.
