Resumen:
Theobjective of this work is to design a controller for process variables for apenicillin production, carried out in a fed-batch reactor, follow predefinedpaths. The design technique is based on linear algebra, which allows the designof multivariable controllers and highly nonlinear systems.It isproposed to calculate the substrate feed rate (control action) with the purposethat process variables follow the optimal concentration tracks previouslyobtained (reference profiles). To achieve this, it is necessary to have themathematical model that adequately represents the process and the concentrationprofiles that you want the system to follow. Simulation results are shown fordifferent initial conditions.
