Resumen:
The present revision shows the possibility to controlthe aflatoxins contamination by biological agents inaquaculture. Several strategies (phisical, chemicaland biological) have been developed to control, reduce,inactivate or eliminate the availability of thesemycotoxins. Many studies are being conducted for thedecontamination of aflatoxins in feed, including, theuse of benefical microorganisms that can bind aflatoxinsin the gastrointestinal tract reducing the degreeof absorption. There commercial products destined tofish feed that are available as prebiotics and probioticsand are formed by strains of bacteria and yeasts usedin most assays adsorption of mycotoxins. Therefore,these functional foods could be able to reduce theamount of the mycotoxins present in gastrointestinaltract
