Resumen:
In this case series, we report a novel observation in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease and show a significant association between the PNPLA3 rs738409 (I148M) variant and the lactate-to-pyruvate ratio, confirming the complex liver metabolic regulatory pathway in which PNPLA3 is involved.
