NATIONAL PROGRAM FOR SCIENCE AND JUSTICE

The Government presented the Action Protocol for Scientific Research developed by CONICET and the federal security forces

It is the first protocol agreed with the four national security forces. It arose from a dialogue with the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team within the framework of the National Program for Science and Justice of CONICET.


On December 2nd, at the Olivos Residence, President Alberto Fernandez, Ana Franchi and the Minister of Security Anibal Fernandez presented the “Action Protocol for Scientific Research at the scene of the event”, which was developed jointly between CONICET and the four federal security forces.

The meeting was attended by the chief of the Argentine Federal Police (PFA), ), Juan Carlos Hernández; the National Naval Prefect, Mario Rubén Farinón; and the National Directors of the Gendarmerie, Andrés Severino, and of the Airport Security (PSA), José Alejandro Glinski.

The precepts that were achieved as a result of this work are mandatory for all officials of the federal police and security forces, and must be observed by the experts who are part of a Criminalistic Team so as to guarantee the effectiveness and respect for the legality of investigations.

The event was also attended by the Secretary for Security and Criminal Policy, Mercedes La Gioiosa; the Undersecretary for Training and Career, Nazarena Belén Mora; and the member of the National Program for Science of Justice of CONICET and Support Staff of the Council, Claudia García Bonelli.
