It is the advisory body of the Board that has to reconcile the criteria between disciplines to evaluate the promotions and admissions to the Career of Scientific and Technological Researcher.
The decisions of the Board, which are based on criteria of quality, academic excellence and relevance, should consider the recommendations of the Disciplinary Advisory Committees. When the Board disagrees with the category of the researcher of the merit recommended by the Committee, it must clearly establish the criteria of the recommendation.
The members of the Board are appointed by the Board. They work for a maximum period of three years, renewing their post by thirds each year.
