Forensic physiognomy: it reconstructs the characteristics of a face by means of moldable materials. It uses a plastic skull mold with several layers of material to simulate the skin, sculptor’s spatulas and paints. In many agencies expers use computer programs to model bones, muscles and skin in 3D. The composite or spoken portrait made from the memory of the victim is the most famous but drawings are also made based on videos and photos and age progressions in the case of missing persons. The experts use a stretcher, pencils, testimony -whether verbal or with photos and videos- to offer options to the artist.
