Several treatments were applied to rice husk producing different sub products. The results indicate that lignocellulosic compound can be extracted by alkaline treatments whereas combined treatments are useful to remove inorganic parts and incinerations produce mainly amorphous silica. All these sub products will be used as filler of thermoplastic matrices and as filler in concrete.
