The historiographical renovation of the Great War experienced in the last two decades and accelerated by the conflict’s centenary has brought to light historical actors that had hitherto been overlooked, such as the so-called peripheries. These were countries or regions with a late and/or marginal participation in the conflict or even neutrals. This presentation analyses Argentine society’s different forms of mobilisation during the Great War.
