Resumen:
This paper reports on the actions implemented by teachers ofmathematics in the first course of engineering careers of the Parana RegionalFaculty (FRP) belonging to the National Technological University (UTN). The aimis to bring about meaningful learning by making students face learningexperiences in the context of their careers. The building of modern engineeringshould be built on the foundation of physical-mathematical concepts, designed asa process that strengthens interdisciplinary articulations between MathematicalAnalysis 1 (MA 1) and Algebra and Analytical Geometry (A&AG), with the specificsubjects of the careers: civil, electromechanic and electronic engineering. TheFRP of the UTN has implemented an experience promoted by the Chairs of MA 1and A&AG that aims to ensure that the first year students achieve the necessaryskills to perform two Practical Integrative Works (PIW) that involve realproblematic situations of each career using mathematical software.
