Females of Forcipomyia (Lasiohelea) anitae Huerta & Ibañez-Bernal and Forcipomyia (Thyridomyia) riojana Spinelli & Marino are described and illustrated. The females, associated with males, were collected with Malaise traps in Argentina, the former in northern Corrientes province, and the latter in three patagonian steppe localities.
