Resumen:
This poster presents the Project "Archaeology andHistory in the Spanish Colony of Floridablanca (Patagonia, 1780-1784)". Itis focused on the social life of the little village founded as part of a planof the Spanish Crown to protect its sovereignty on the South Atlantic Coast. The project iscurrently investigating multiple aspects of daily life and the materialorganization of the colony. Culture contact, social change, sociability,identity and power relationships are the topics mainly developed. Theintegration of those multiple lines of research, allow us a betterunderstanding of the daily activities such as, eating, working and living inFloridablanca.
