Resumen:
In this article, an aeroelastic energy harvesting device is analized. The device consists in not only a pair of flexible wings with embedded piezoelectric transducers, but also a set of structural elements with lumped parameters. The study is conducted in order to assess whether the device can be tuned into its critical flutter condition by varying the lumped parameters.If this is in fact possible, the range of air speeds in which the device harvests energy is increased with the consequent improvement in its efficiency.
