Resumen:
Abstract. Galactia dimorphophylla, a new species from northeastern Argentina andnorthern Uruguay, is described and illustrated. This new species is assigned to sect.Odonia. A table distinguishing it from similar species in Southern South America ispresented, and its relationships and distinguishing characters including karyologicalfeatures are discussed.
