Resumen:
The possibility of conveniently design the required specific both properties and characteristics of a certain material is without any doubt one of the most important aspects in materials engineering, and dealing with nanomaterials offer this opportunity. In this sense, multicomponent functional nanoscale systems are more interesting than their single-component analogues since they have the potential to combine in just one entity the unique properties of several nanomaterials. Otherwise, since some of the alternative modern treatments being considered for the local dealing with cancerous cells include thermal therapies, many research works have been conducted looking for non-toxic (or negligible toxic) magnetic nanoparticles having both precise control of their heating capability and selective targeting to cancer cells. Remotely induced heat through the employment of nanoparticles being sensitive to a certain stimulus for the application of local hyperthermia is considered one of the best options to be used.
