Resumen:
Results suggest that lindane have detrimental effects on the oviductalepithelium altering essential cellular processes that potentially impairfemale fertility. In vitro cultured Bovine Oviductal Epithelial Cells (BOEC) would allow thestudy of various pesticides, contaminants, or stressors that alter thefunctions of bovine oviductal epithelium, crucial for mammalian fertility. 2D monolayer BOEC cultures and 3D co-cultures of BOEC and BovineOviductal Stromal Cells (BOSC) within collagen matrices, would improve thein vitro studies of pesticides effects on the reproductive tract.
