Resumen:
In this work, characterization analysis of three agro-industrial waste was performed in order to study its gasification. Immediate analysis, determination of Ca, K and Mg concentration, these elements influence the pollutants emission, and determination of three representative toxic metals concentration Cd, Cr and Pb in all its oxidation states and the ground state were carried out. The heavy metals concentration was also determined in the gasification and also the mobility of these elements was studied through three leaching tests, DEV-S4 (German), the EPA-TCLP (U.S.A.) and NEN-7341 (Dutch). In order to predict the behavior of heavy metals, sulfur and chlorine compounds, the presence of water vapor, synthesis gas, Ca, Mg, K, Si, Al and other ash components was analyzed. The studied residues have high moisture content and low ash content. The Ca, Mg and K presence in these residues would assist the pollutants retention. Considering the heavy metals, they are not more concentrated in the gasification, these pollutants are telease during this process.
