Resumen:
The use of supercritical water gasification process in second generation biofuels, requires the prediction of hydrogen solubility in water and organic oxygenated mixtures at high temperatures and pressures. Considering the complexity of the mixtures coming from cellulosic material processing, the use of a group contribution model is a logical choice. In this work the group contribution with association equation of state (GCA-EoS) is used to model H2 solubility in acetic acid, propanal, methanol, ethanol and water.
