Dynamics of Topological Defects in Block Copolymers Membranes

We study the kinetics phase transition and the morphological evolution of a block copolymer membrane. The local composition and the shape of the membrane are energetically coupled. The evolution of the compositional field is described by a Cahn-Hillard equation and the shape changes via a relaxational dynamics. The model is applied to examine the morphological evolution of topological defects of hexagonal patterns.
