Resumen:
In thiswork, the preliminary synthesis of a fast pyrolysis plus catalytichydrogenation process for the production of value added products from sunflowerseed hulls will be presented at the conceptual stage. A General DisjunctiveProgramming (GDP) problem is solved, proposing a superstructure generated bythe different ways of treating the raw material, posing different alternativesfor the separation process and desired products. The Net Present Value is usedas objective function. The solution of this problem allows for theidentification of promising alternatives for the sensible and profitable use ofresidual biomass.
