Effect of the Clay Concentration on the Tribological and Barrier Properties of Polypropylene/Clay Composites

The aim of the present work is to study composites based on polypropylene and clay with the intention to contribute to better understanding of the relationship between their structural characteristics and its properties.  This study involves the analysis of the microstructure of the composites and the effect of the clay concentration on the tribological and gas barrier properties of the composites.
