Resumen:
In the present study, a commercial organophilic clay was used to prepare nanocomposites (PNC) based on polyethylene (PE) by melt compounding. A PE modified with maleic anhydride (PEg) was used as compatiblizer to improve the clay dispersion in PE (1, 2). The effect of clay concentration and PEg/clay concentration ratio on the rheological, tribological and gas barrier properties of the prepared composites were analyzed.
