Study of uncertainties sources with MM5 model in South America

This study it is a first step in the analysis of sources of uncertainty in the RCM-simulated climate over southern South America. Several ensembles of simulations using MM5 regional climate model for three months, from October 1986 to December 1986 were carried out. These ensembles were performed with the aim of evaluating uncertainties due to model’s internal variability, model configuration such as domain choice and nesting technique, model physics and model’s physical parameters.
