Resumen:
The spider superfamily Migoidea is representedin Chile by four species and genera. Three belongto the family Migidae: Migas vellardi Zapfe (thefemale of which is described for the first time, andwhich remains of uncertain placement within thesubfamily Miginae), the new genus and speciesMallecomigas schlingeri (assigned, for the timebeing, to the probably paraphyletic subfamily Calathotarsinae, although it may prove to representthe sister group of all other migids), and Calathotarsuscoronatus Simon (the male of which is describedfor the first time). The fourth species belongsto the family Actinopodidae and the newgenus Plesiolena, based on Missulena bonneti(Zapfe), the female of which is described for thefirst time; Plesiolena is hypothesized to be moreclosely related to the Australian genus Missulenathan to the tropical American genus Actinopus.
