Resumen:
The goal of PEM Fuel Cells with Bio-Fuel Processor System is to enable students, engineers, and researchers to develop effective control structures for fuel cells in the context of complex systems. The editors´ focus is on the entire system, not just the individual fuel cell. The energy management arrangement of the overall system and hybrid configuration are the main subjects of consideration. The emphasis is on giving the reader the best tools to achieve accurate, practical, and useful solutions. The topics covered are, therefore, supported by control theory, computational tools, artificial intelligence, expert systems, and experimental results, among others. PEM Fuel Cells with Bio-Fuel Processor System pays equal attention to fuel cells and to plants of fuel processor systems from renewable energy sources, such as bio-ethanol for hydrogen production. In the coverage of both subjects, modeling, simulation, advanced control, and fault diagnosis are analyzed in depth.
