Abstract−− In this paper the problem of nonlinear system compensation is presented. In particular our interest is the compensation of high speed analog to digital converters (ADCs). These converters present strong nonlinearities which deteriorate the perform-ance of a digital system in terms of the signal to noise and distortion ratio (SINAD). Two traditional com-pensation methods for this kind of system are re-viewed. A compensation based on Neural Networks (NNs) is proposed and analized.
