Resumen:
Current medical therapies available for endometriosis result inefficient due to their long term side effects and high levels of recurrence. Natural compounds are being investigated because of their beneficial properties. WG, a flavonoid isolated from Scutellaria baicalensis root, is the most active constituent of Chinese Herbal Medicine. CA and RA are two of the main antioxidant compounds found in Rosmarinus officinallis leaves. Anti-tumoral effects of these polyphenols have already been reported in several types of tumor cell lines. Previous studies developed in our laboratory demonstrated that these compounds inhibit endometrial stromal cell proliferation in both in-vitro and in-vivo endometriosis model.
