This paper examines temporal and spatial annual and monthly extreme precipitation for 10 stations (1980-1984) in the central-east of Argentina and its . relationship with the El Niño/Southern Oscillation (ENSO). This study is part of a whole research which has the objective to analyze the climatic rainfall data set in space and time in a11 of Argentina's stations and investigate any changes in precipitation climate that may have resulted from changes in atmospheric circulation
