Resumen:
Sustainable architecture seeks to work with buildings in order to reduce the impact on the environment, either through a reduction in energy consumption and/or the production of energy through the integration of thermal or photovoltaic solar systems. In temperate continental climates there as the existing in Central-Western of Argentina there are conditions for passive solar systems use. But the incorporation of a greenhouse as a passive solar system, it is not advised by winning a lot of solar heat, mainly in the intermediate season and it is usually excessive for the needs of the buildings. This paper examines the possibility of PSSG inclusion in buildings in general presenting advantages and disadvantages. The incorporation of the greenhouse to house are analyzed and generates savings in the order of 18% and the annual specific consumption is 64.8 kWh/m2.yr. Thermal situation is analysed in winter, summer and the intermediate seasons. Greenhouse provides solar energy to the adjacent space and it temperatura result within comfort parameters in winter (18-22ºC) and the intermediate season (22-25ºC). In summer greenhouse temperatures are very close to ambient temperatures, especially if it is possible to ventilate it in order to remove the heat. Users indicate that is a very interesting space to stay during the day in winter; and in summer is very pleasant to see the sky at sunset and the starry sky at night. Another moment to use it in summer is for breakfast.
