Resumen:
The use of solar energy together with energy conservation is a task that it is essential to transform human habitat in sustainable places. This paper presents the positive impact produced by the incorporation of solar systems and energy conservation devices in the building sector. These allow improve the quality of life of populations in the arid zone of Argentina and at the same time allowing the control of GHG emissions. Through the adoption of energy-efficient equipment for cooking, both in the use of the heat retention box cooker (HRBC) and solar drum oven, it is possible to improve the quality of life of the villager savings much time and effort in trying to obtain firewood with less serious health problems associated. It is demonstrates that it is possible to savings 67.8% of Liquefied Petroleum Gas and 63.8 % of Firewood utilized in rural and arid zone of Argentina. Also reduces 3.09 kgCO2e per cápita from 2015-2050 of greenhouse gases to the environment.
