Resumen:
This project will develop models that consider different sea-level rise levels for the shoreline of Mar del Plata based on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) research and other relevant studies. It will combine this information with census data to identify relief measures appropriate to the different sea level rise scenarios and answer the following questions: Where will coastal damage take place? To what extent will its effects vary spatially? What are the socioeconomic characteristics of the sectors of the city most exposed to sea-level rise?
