Resumen:
The Derivo® Embolization Device is a nitinol based braided flowdiverter (FD) which allows intracranial aneurysm treatment byCommented [n1]: Acandis GmbH, Pfortzheim, Germanyredirecting the flow and subsequent thrombosis of the aneurysmsac.Based on two individual cases in which a 3D silicon model wascreated based on the 3DRA images acquired some weeks before thetreatment, we analyzed the behavior of the FD in terms of finallength and positioning; of a virtually deployed FD, the FD deployedinside the silicon model and the images obtained after the realprocedure. The main purpose of the study was to evaluate the accuracyprediction of the virtually deployment of the FD and the one on thesilicon model.
