Resumen:
A variety of new endovascular treatments of intracranial aneurysms have appeared in recent year.Among these, ow diverting devices have not been thoroughly described so far, and the clinical reports published so far are scarce. Flow diverters are stent-like devices specially designed to reconstruct the parent artery and divert blood  flow along the normal anatomical course and away from the aneurysm neck and dome. Recent studies have shown di erent clinical outcomes for this therapy. The use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) can provide a better understanding of the e ect of these devices on patients. In this study we present the results obtained for a series of 23 intracranial aneurysms virtually treated with a  flow diversion device.
