Resumen:
The Austral Pygmy Owl (Glaucidium nana) has been incorrectly credited with anincubation period of 15-17 days multiple times in recent years. We document that the correct incubation period is 26-29 days and point out that no species of owl is known to have an incubation period shorter than three weeks.
