Resumen:
In this work an comparative analysis of experiments results performed on ethanol steam reforming and methane steam reforming using a bulk Ni(II)-Al hydrotalcite like compounds as catalyst, was carried out. The aim is to obtain evidences about the catalyst behavior in order to design an effective catalyst to maximize and simultaneously to minimize hydrogen and CO production, respectively. The results show evidences that this behavior is related with the presence of an only one type of active site in the Ni/Al2O3 catalyst.
