Descripción:
CpSimulator(https://cpsimulator.cimec.org.ar/)is a new cloud-based platform to predict wind pressure coefficients(Cp) on buildings, developed by Dr. Bre and Dr. Gimenez. Currently,CpSimulator consists of a set of tools to automatically carry out theentire CFD-based workflow (preprocessing, solver, and postprocessingstages), in order to perform atmospheric boundary layer (ABL) simulations and obtain Cp data on buildings. To request a given set of Cp data, only a few input parameters are required, where the geometry of the target building and its environment are themain one. For BPS users this can be provide directly using the sameEnergyPlus input data file (IDF). Also, compatibility with othersuseful formats is under development, e.g. STL and CityGML. After the automatic procedure to obtain the CFD results, CpSimulator returns tothe user information related to Cp data like Cp on building surfaces,Cp data on openings, point Cp data, among others, and flow fields(pressure and velocities) resulting from the CFD simulations. Theseoutputs are stored in a data-server, and provided to the user througha downloadable link, in the formats of comma-separated values (CSV),Visualization Toolkit file (VTK), or the same EnergyPlus input datafile (IDF) updated with the corresponding AirflowNetwork modelobjects.CpSimulator is under development, so we are inviting researchers, students andbuilding designers to evaluate our service for free. Al 15 de marzo de 2023, se llevan realizados casi 130 requests (ver adjunto)
