Resumen:
This Project is related with my long–term plan as a researcher of the National Scientific and Technical Research Council in (CONICET, Arg.), which refers to the construction of state health agencies in the province of Santa Fe (Argentina), during the first half of the 20th century. For this postdoctoral stage, I will explore the impact of international health organizations and other Latin American experiences on this process with the aim to comprehend how a provincial state in Argentina could become one additional chapter in the global constitution of an international public health field and network. This study case is particularly important because the first Public Health Ministry of the country was created in this province, in 1941.
