In this paper we study the problem of resourceallocation in WDM single-hop optical networks underdynamic trafc. These network architectures have beenproposed for high-capacity Metro environments whereWDM rings are deployed. The main contribution of thepaper is the formalisation of the problem in terms ofILP, the introduction of algorithms for allocating nodeson WDM channels, and the proposal of different recongurationschemes.
