Resumen:
It has been demonstrated that pediatricen bloc kidney (EBK) grafts can ex-tend the limited donor pool with goodlong-term graft survival and function.However, the higher rate of initial graftloss during the first postoperative year,technical difficulties, the risk of hypertension,and increased protein wastinglimit the widespread transplantation ofEBKs into adults (1Y4).
