The 90-kDa heat shock proteins (Hsp90) constitute a highly conserved protein family in allorganisms. In general, the principal role of Hsp90 is associated with its function as a molecularchaperone (Fig.1)[1,2]. Likewise, we have reported that extracellular Hsp90s fusion, or mixture,have the ability to bind to surface receptors and activate cellular functions related to immuneresponse, making them very attractive to be studied as immunomodulators [3-6].
