“Innocent Victims and Demons: Discourses of the Transition to Democracy in Argentina (1983-1985)”

The aim of this communication today is to examine the two main discourses that crystallized during the transition to democracy: the discourse of blame and innocence and the theory of the two demons. I will point out an occluded distinction between the victim of repression and the victim of deception in order to give an account of the lack of political reflection on society's responsibility in Argentina.
