Resumen:
COPYRIGHT AND RIGHT TO COPY IN THE DIGITAL AGE. The development of digital technologies (computers, software) 2and the expansion of the Internet (distributed and peer-to-peer electronic networks) 3 are bringing about profound changes in the ways intellectual value is created, produced, distributed, commercialized and regulated. The modern legal and political dichotomy between the private and the public realm has today come to be seen as inadequate to analyzing this new phase of global capitalism. A new, dense and complex weave of relationships between law and politics (Vercelli, 2009) and society and technology (Thomas, 2008, Bijker, 1995) emerges with the analysis of what common goods are, who they belong to and how they are to be managed.
