Modeling the Soluble Solid Batch Extraction of Lemon Rind using a Posynomial Model

The objective of the present work is to obtain the optimization model parameters for the leaching process of soluble solids in lemon rind, determining the required volume of an extractor per mass unit of soluble solute transferred to the solvent  at a constant temperature of 10 ºC; that is, the size factor in a posynomial model of batch process at different times and water/rind ratios.
